Ch-ch-ch-changes

Bunch of schedule re-arranging going on today.

NBC cans "The Black Donnellys" in favor of a reality show, "Real Wedding Crashers," which is probably self-explanatory.

Fox cans "The Wedding Bells."

ABC cans "Six Degrees."

The CW cans "7th Heaven." Again. Having written about that show's demise about a dozen times now, I'll believe it when next season starts sans Camdens.

Man - ALL that ANNOYING build up for "The Black Donnellys"... The promo spots were on constantly... and then they can it.

Another example of network money well spent...

The "Donnellys" pilot was very, very good. When it was over, though, I didn't want more - that episode was a complete story. I'll bet others in TV-land felt the same way.

Maybe it would have done better on a larger screen?

Loved the pilot and enjoyed the series. Unfortunately, it was a bit inconsistent and often drab (I hate that word, but it fits).

I was pleased and surprised that it even made it to network television, especially for the non-linear storytelling in the pilot. Rachet the whole thing up a bit and it's big screen or HBO material.
