Kellie Pickler just showed up on "American Idol." If you don't own an HDTV, you really are not getting the full dimensions of how weird she looks. It's like a 4-year-old playing dress up, except with boob implants.
So weird.
Her face looks like it's Botoxed and then spackled. And that dress? I'm imagining what Simon would say. It would make her cry.
(and that pathetically rehearsed sushi bit with Seacrest was pretty sad, too).
HOWEVER - The song is kinda nice.

Good, I wasn't the only one thinking that. I can't imagine how it looked on an HDTV, her after-market parts were overwhelming on our 15" TV.
I have to say that I am stunned that Sanjaya didn't get cut. He should have been cut the first week, and to make it thru with his weird performance this week is disturbing.
In the end it is not singing competition, but a popularity contest. They don't want a great singer, they want someone who is popular and will sell a lot of records.
If Sanjaya doesn't go this week, I'll quit watching American Idol. I'm still stunned he's still around. Does anyone else think he acts like Michael Jackson? Obviously minus the singing and dancing ability, but there's something about him.....:)
