KRDO changes

So on Saturday, KRDO seemed to be playing its regular format, but without "The Peak" nickname. Then on Sunday, it started simulcasting KSPZ (92.9 FM) sometime in the afternoon. That continued until about 8 this morning, when it shifted back to a more AC format, but no jocks or commercials.

Bobby Irwin over at Citadel said on Friday he might have something to announce today, so we'll see (well, hear).

Meanwhile, KRDO/Channel 13's new owners arrive today to sign the final paperwork. I had an interview with Harry Hoth this morning and he's already pretty well cleaned out his office. It was an interesting interview -- should run sometime this week.

Well I am thinking that KRDO-FM will flip to Country, and maybe might pick up the KKCS call letters and hertiage.

Looking forward to Harry Hoth's interview and what he has to say about his retirement which was about time.

KRDO-TV has been hurting and while Harry and Patti Hoth might have done great things for the community via Pikes Peak Broadcasting they truly held back KRDO-TV potincal for quite sometime. KOAA was able to captialize on this during the 1990's

I am hoping that News Press Gazette will breath new life into KRDO-TV while at the same time promote the values that the Hoth's believe in. This would be a great One-Two Punch.

I heard a rumor that Harry and Patti Hoth will be guest bloggers on NewsBlab. Any truth to that?
