Idol is now the biggest joke on television. When performers like Sanjaya and Phil Stacey are still in the running, and performers like Gina Glocksen and Stephanie Edwards are gone, well, that just isn't right. If I were a producer of the show, I'd be upset. Yes, having Sanjaya last week after week will keep people watching to see how far he goes, but in the long run, all this is doing is taking away all credibility the show had. Only in Amercia, on Idol, can someone who shouldn't even be on the show is making the cut week after week. I think this is just going to hurt Idol next season.
Did you catch Michael Buble's comment at the end about how he was still voting for Antonella Barba? Made him sound like a total sleazebag. I liked him until then.
I'm pretty sure he was drunk. Although it's entirely possible that he's a drunk sleazebag. Anyway, it was totally worth it to see Seacrest squirm until they could cut to commercial.
