With Grace's arrival, Grace fills in
Just talking to Joe Cole over at KXRM/Channel 21. His co-anchor Stephanie Pytlinski finally (well, it seems like finally) had her baby Sunday morning. Baby Grace weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces.
Steph will be off 12 weeks for maternity leave with Grace, so Grace Polanski will be behind the anchor desk with Joe.
In other Fox news, Joe says he'll hire the new morning team by the middle of June and give them a month of run-throughs before the new morning news launches in July.

Andy, ask Joe when they're going HD! ;)
And when they're going to hire a lighting professional.
Hahaha! No kidding.
Secondly... congrats Steph! Grace is good, but she's not you.
Hey... question for ya'll with HD. Has anyone else noticed - and this is only with Fox mind you, none of the other stations - how the picture for local broadcast of anything has been substantially "squished"? By this I mean the picture has actually been squished towards the middle so that the entirety of the picture might be about 1/2 the total screen size.
And don't even get me started on the sound. Not just with Fox, but they are by far the worst when it comes to the sound quality when it pops from network broadcast back to local. It's monumentally louder, and calling it atrocious is being kind.
Hey mad man... gotta a buddy that works over at Fox says they are purchasing a fairly expensive piece of equipment to fix the audio. Which means they are aware of the problem. Stay tuned I guess.
Man their spending a lot of money over there. New weekend show, sound gear. Wonder if they want another live truck, or a sports staff for that matter....
Thanks for the info!
New morning show, actually.
