Heroes has me feeling like Dr. Doom

Oh, Peter suddenly doesn't want to know what's in the box. Lame. (Plus, wouldn't it just be like his wallet and stuff? Why the stupid build-up?).

Hiro sending notes to Ando through the sword? Lame. Hiro's powers conveniently stop working?Lame.

Claire's new boyfriend bagged and tagged by dad? Lame. (Plus, in the real world, that would be the appropriate spot to explain what's going on and your father's change of heart, just to stave off the inevitable and even lamer plot twist to come).

Sylar's powers gone? Lame. Sylar can't get them back? Lamer.

The brother and sister in Mexico repeating the SAME DAMN plotline like five times in one episode? Incredibly lame.

Uhuru as DL's mom/aunt/something? Somewhat cool.

Seriously, a couple more episodes like this and I'll be paying a lot more attention to Monday Night Football.

I should really proof read my stuff more closely before posting! That, or pump more java in my veins! ;)

OK, here we go... again.

Gotta agree with you about Heroes. I love this show. Or did. Last season's finale was a disappointment. And so far this season they are batting a big flopping ZERO. Not only does this season seem insanely contrived, but all the coincidental stuff is out of control. And what's with the lame dialog? Who's writing this stuff - a bunch of 7th graders?

It's like they completely ran out of ideas and are just throwing darts at a dart board and going: "Hey, good idea! Even though it makes no sense, and we'll never be able to connect the dots... write it up!"

Sad. So very sad.

I think it's because somebody explained comic book conventions to these guys, but they're still TV writers, not comic book geeks. It's why Sam Raimi can do Spider-Man 3 better than Brett Ratner can do X-Men 3. Raimi feels the love, Ratner feels the paycheck.

The question is, is there a way for them to salvage this season? I'm betting no, but I'll give it a couple more weeks to make sure before I bail.

HAHAHAAHA! Oh man... I used to attend comic conventions. Regularly. I still have a MASSIVE comic book collection. Those were... interesting.

Oh ya, I'll give Heroes a few more weeks... heck, I'll probably watch the whole season because I AM still a fan.

I can't say that for K-Ville, Survivor: China, Kitchen Nightmares... and though I've DVRed the last 2 episodes of Bionic Woman, I'm hesitant to watch them. So I may be falling off that wagon very soon.

At least Pushing Daisies is great stuff!

Now for some returning shows: The Unit - we still like that show. The season opener of Numbers was good, so we'll keep watching that. We loved Shark from last year but freakin' missed the first 2 episodes because it moved to Sunday and started EARLY (Sept 23?)! Criminal Minds is great, but with Mandy Pitinkin gone now, I'm not sure it will stay great.

Hey... any word on what might get pulled of the new stuff? A buddy of mine read over on Yahoo that Journeyman might get yanked.

Also read that Jericho might be brought back as soon as this month if one of the many new CBS shows tank (like Kid Nation). Any new info on that?

"Jericho" is on its way back, but it looks like CBS will let "Kid Nation" go awhile longer. Friday night is a possibility, if "Moonlight" tanks. Don't expect it before November, though.

The jury is still out on "Journeyman." "Aliens in America" and "Life is Wild" on the CW are on thinner ice. Plus maybe "K-Ville."

There hasn't been a clear-cut loser this season -- nothing's done very well except for "Bionic Woman" and "The Practice." So it'll depend on how much patience the networks have (ha!).

'Kid Nation' will finish its run. The numbers are not impressive but not enough to pull it before its finshed. I expect them to replace Nation with 'Power of 10' and that will give Daises a run for the money. Jericho is likely to go on Friday.

It seems that the audience that hooked on to Heroes are into the comics. It took a hit in the ratings last week but I think It was a good episode, but everyone else expects to be something else from the show. Maybe 'Heores' NEEDS comic book writers on board.

Give the audience what it wants and that is what they want. A comic book experense on TV. The expectations are truly high regarding 'Heroes.'

Please don't give up on this show. Compared to Bionic Woman Heroes wins hands down. If Woman somehow stablizes soon it will get a full season order. 'Surface' was able to pull off 15 episodes, not quite a full season but neverless.

Bionic is not quite head for cancelation just yet. However this show is poorly writen and acted. Katee Sackhoff seems to be the lone wolf playing the bad girl however.

'Back To You' with Gramer/Heaton is going to be the next show I predict to be canceled.
