Lame Lost
Next week looks somewhat intriguing, though. Unlike, say, Jack's tattoos, I actually sorta wonder why Locke is in the wheelchair. They've been pumping that mystery for two seasons: It's time for some payoff.
I didn't care about the Claire flashbacks -- we all already knew Jack is Claire's brother. I wish Charlie would go ahead and die already, and the Sayid-Locke stuff was a waste of time.
I did like the closer, with Jack playing football. That was a pretty good set-up, with him running for the woods, and then pulling up to catch the ball. Funny.

Well, just talked with 3 other people at my place of business that are fanatical about Lost (to the point where they buy all the magazines and novels, and have every season that is available on DVD), and they all confirmed that... you're smoking something.
It's never even been insinuated before that episode that Jack and Claire were siblings. Yes, Jack's dad was in Australia, and there was an episode with Jack's dad and Anna Lucia (the one with Sawyer running into their car) where he was looking for his daughter... but dude, I'm sorry, there is NO way you could have connected those dots based on that ONE episode.
Of further interest, to refute the "Lame Lost" idea... Jack's now dead father is becoming more and more a focal point. He's the one thing a great many people on the island all have in common. That means something. Was he one of "Them"? Was he out recruiting? What's the scoop there?
Additionally... Eye Patch was having an interesting conversation with Syiad, Kate and Locke right before they found the sonic pylons. What he was saying, and how, was almost as if he had known them - in the past? The future? Or HAD known of them... because he was going to say about Locke that I knew you when... you were in a wheelchair?
Frankly... good stuff. That was actually one of the better episodes of late.
