I'm back... and I'm not happy
So this happened last week, but shouldn't go uncommented upon: ABC is bringing back "According to Jim" for midseason.
CBS renewing "Jericho" after a passionate fan outcry? That's cool. Kinda funny. But "Jim"? Without a doubt, it's the worst sitcom on television, and in the running for worst show overall. That's just plain old mean.

Welcome back... from where ever you may have been... :-)
Maybe the Simon Cowell program didn't make it past focus groups, thus, "Jim" is the cheaper backup alternative
