Broncos game goes digital... digital cable that is

Sunday's Broncos-Houston Texans game will be shown on the NFL Network. And only the NFL Network.

If you're scratching your head and wondering what exactly this NFL Network thingee is, you may be in trouble.

The NFL Network is the cable network the NFL started two years ago to provide round-the-clock football to the faithful. It had interviews, it had analysis, it had highlights... it had everything but actual games.

This year, the NFL Network gets those, too. Including Sunday's Broncos preseason game and -- brace yourself -- the Thanksgiving Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 23.

If you have digital cable, DirecTV or Dish Network, no problem. You'll find the NFL Network on Channel 177 on Adelphia, err Comcast. Watch and enjoy.

Denver fans will get to watch the game on KDVR/Channel 31, the local Fox affiliate. The NFL Network isn't allowing any other Colorado stations to show the game, however.

No problem, I have found that I like NFL Network's format and commentators. I am looking forward to it.

I know the NFL Network has HD programming, so I wonder if the Huckleberries down on Union will be able to create an HD channel for the games. :)

I ask, because they haven't figured out how to do it with KOAA yet...

Kinda makes you wish the NFL network would treat each market fairly and allow KXRM & KFQX in Junction to carry the games as well.

This isn't a case of KXRM sucking, this is a case of the NFL network saying Colorado Springs is too insignificant to bother with.

not saying fox 21 sucks, just saying they are in their infancy or seem to be and need alot of growing up. guess that goes as well for the other 3 channels in many ways...

what gets me is we have 2 spanish tv stations on Comcast's lower tier that are not subtitled or sap broadcast in english. That really gripes me. If they can't make it right for Americans to understand, they should boot them out. I sure wish Comcast would come out with the pay per channel format instead of paying for packages...why pay for channels you never watch? Go figure!

Confused by the infancy remark, how is Fox in it's infancy? And how do all the stations need to grow up?

green news people. fox 21 is the worst for flub ups and blunders. small market=inexperience news reporting. got it now?

Yea. I got it now. Let me try and help you out a bit here. Fox 21's news is staffed by KKTV so what you are really saying is KKTV is green. Do you got it now???

By the way, if the news makes you that miserable then move to a larger market.
