Awesome question of the day

Just had a call from a woman who wanted to know why there was a chink in the top feather on the NBC peacock. At first I couldn't figure out what she meant, but as soon as I called up the image, all became clear.
I'm not casting aspersions here - sometimes you see the forest, sometimes only the trees.

Also geekily interesting is that NBC changed the peacock in 1986 so that it was looking right instead of left, giving it a more forward-looking appearance. I suppose these days, the peacock ought to be hiding its head in the sand.

Someone needs to pluck and incinerate that peacock. Their programming is crap, and their news division is so corrupt (the numerous staging incidents on Dateline and other NBC News outlets, their poor news quality, their unholy alliance with Microsoft called MSNBC and its Keith Olbermann bashfests) that the FCC should force this network off the air. But it looks like poor ratings will make NBC as dead as the DuMont Network..

Stay focus anonymous #2, the concern is the peacock, it look like there's a chink in the rainbow. You did have comments about the staging incident on "Dateline," are you tired of the incidents or more is it a disbelief that such stupidity exists on a regular basis.
Keith Olbermann is a person who spends a lot of time looking for the weakness of others, ignore him and he will be replaced, talk about him and you guarantee another year in his contract.
