KRDO names new news director
KRDO/Channel 13 hired Michael Sipes to be its new news director. Sipes replaces Dave Rose, who resigned earlier this month.
Sipes comes from the ABC affiliate in Kansas City. He's also been the ND in Louisville, Ky., and Jackson, Miss.
He'll start on Monday.

hey, i just noticed that krdotv going "up" in the world in the colorado springs market, but it kind of sad to see dave rose go . i known lyle rocketfeller also for brn radio network . now if this newbie news director from kmbc tv 9 would change some things like the tv studio and get a tv satellite truck .. ohhh mannn , i tell u . there would be chaos with the other tv networks there.
Sipes didn't come from KMBC in Kansas City. He left there overnight late last year, just weeks before the November book. According to the station release, he resigned via email.
