Pretty common PR technique: There's no point regurgitating bad news, or making folks who missed the controversy wonder what the heck happened while they were on vacation.

oh andyw. what happened to.. jenny hynes of kktv11. she said, she quit 11news.. now lauri martin is in there. and kim price is great..and rachel huffingberg is one of the remaining two weather people in csprings..any one knows??
You gotta wonder what was going through Matt's mind when he stepped back in front of the camera. All the talk, all the attention, all the hoopla. The story is out there. And he couldn't say a damn thing about it!
What was going through Matt's mind?...."Look at me Jayne, I messed up and didn't get fired!!!"

To answer the Jeanette question, if I remember correctly she was having a second child and wanted to spend time at home. Nick said she would probably be back filling in occasionally.
You people need to get off this Jayne Smith. Why can't you face the fact that she was fired because she didn't do what was asked of her by management.
Actually she did exactly what management asked of her. They fired her because management refused to admit they made a mistake and they set her up for that fall. For that they will be forever banished to the karma caves of the north. And warts will form on places that can only be seen by their closest family members. But they will know those warts are there as will their co-workers. Their continual scratching in private places will give that fact away.
Who wants to pitch in on a case of topical-cream for KRDO's management and chief-met?

How do you know what she did or didn't do? DO you have some kind of insight that no one else supposedly has... or are you making stuff up as you go along.

So Jayne Smith doesnt have the face for TV??? Rather... Matt Meister doesnt have A CIVIL MOUTH for TV Broadcast, unless a bar of Zest is at hand. KRDO's decision to bring him back is blatant discrimination. I hope Jayne Smith and her attorney pursues this to the fullest extent of the law and correct managements misconduct!

Discrimination against Jayne? Now I have heard eveything. How dumb is that? You conspriacy theorists need to crawl back into the holes and caves you came from.
I hope Rachel Huffenberg jumps from 5/30. I can't even stand to listen to her. Every morning I have to mute the TV during her 'news' stories. Her voice is just so grating and half the time she can't speak correct English.
Rumor has it that no one will be promoted from KJCT.

And that is the exact reason I filed my complaint with the FCC today. He said nothing, like sweeping it under the carpet. Probably following management direction. After filing I received my FCC complaint number from them. They said it could take up to 9 months for action. I can wait!
Why would you be an ass and file a complaint? There is just being vindictive for no reason. I am sure enough were filed by the religious freaks over there the day after it happened. What did you expect Matt do? Talk about it some more on the air after he apologized & Neil came on and explained the suspension. Geez!!!!

I know there are rules *MORON*. You just have a very vindictive tone to your post so I apologize if it wasn't. I just don't think your complaint filing makes a damn bit of difference in the whole situation. Like I said... I imagine a few have already been filed before yours. I guess my point was why would you even care to file one?
It was probably Smith who filed the complaint. She doesn't have anything better to do.
