In tomorrow's TV Talk, I'll be looking at how local stations covered the killing of Springs police detective Jared Jensen, plus doing a round-up of responses to last week's question, "Why aren't you watching the Olympics?"
I know, it's an odd pairing, but I got maybe 50 or 60 responses to the Olympics thing, so the question clearly touched a nerve among some readers.

I think you went easy on Ward and Brinias in your article. I considered them to border on rude at times during their rambling during the service. And you forgot to mention Rob Quirk confusing the officer's last name with the killer's last name during his live stumbling. He needs a teleprompter in front of him all the time it appears.
Have you seen that KKTV is already running a commercial about their "stellar" coverage of the shooting? I would think they would want to wait a day, or a minute, or too, to capitalize on an event that's still a little raw.
